Carbon Dioxide is one of the most common hazards to health in the cellar.
An increase in volume of
3% volume - Breathing difficulties
10% volume - Unconsciousness, death after a few hours.
15% volume - Death within minutes
cp nitro can install an alarm system in your cellar to constantly monitor for the presence of Carbon Dioxide. This unit can be sited in any location where there is a risk of asphyxiation. A remote repeater is sited in a safe area to alert personnel to the presence of a hazardous situation in the area being protected
If a Hazard is detected, the unit can automatically turn on a ventilation system, if required (not included with alarm system).
The Carbon Dioxide alarm thresholds are factory set at the following values
Low Alarm: An increase of 1.5% volume
High Alarm: An increase of 4.0% Volume
